we were there tuesday night in the Man U section and yes I have to say they were loud quite stunning ,yes the game was naff and if it was not for the fans of Besiktas i would have gone back to the hotel a lot earlier . nice blog by the way . Damien

Yes it was great all the better for being a local Derby with the noisy neighbours . also the last 5 minutes was dramatic has always. off topic your blog is one of the cleanest I have ever seen very well put together . How is Istanbul for a holiday place to go ??? wife is always mentioning it :(( .

Oh that sounds so much fun!! I've never been to a football match in my life, I'm not much of a sports fan but this experience is a must.

sorry a bit late replying ,yes istanbul is a beautiful place so much to do , so much to see . however the TV news channels drive me nuts forever repeating the same footage over and again during a report and the music background .
